Multinational european lottery played in 10 countries. Similar to EuroMillions, EuroJackpot and EuroDreams.
Tickets can be purchased in Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Slovenia, Sweden and Belgium. Draws are on Wednesday.
Jackpot between 5.3 million $ and 61.8 million $.

Vikinglotto history
- Vikinglotto started in 1991. It was the first multinational lottery in Europe.
- The first draw was on 17th March 1993, with Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden participating. The format was six numbers between 1 and 48, plus three additional numbers.
- Estonia joined in 2000.
- In 2002, the Joker game was introduced on Wednesday nights in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, and Finland as an add-on game.
- In 2004, the Lucky Number was introduced on 18th August in Finland, Denmark, Norway, and Iceland. The jackpot prize increased if the pre-drawn lucky number was one of the main numbers appearing in the Vikinglotto draw.
- In 2011, Latvia (Latvijas Loto) and Lithuania (Olifeja) joined the lottery.
- On 24th May 2017, the Viking number replaced the Lucky Numbers. Only the jackpot and second-tier prizes are now the same in all participating countries. Remaining prize categories are decided nationally.
- 2017 Jackpot limits were introduced: a maximum jackpot of €35 million and a minimum of €3 million.
- On 9th November 2017, Slovenia joined the lottery.
- Belgium joined in November 2020.
